GENERAL Hand Drawings For DIGIPACK

The images below presents GENERAL research into various Digipacks with the same genre as ours, we will only be incoporating a few of these in our final product.

These 3 images below are incoporated in one to make the middle image which a plan for the back cover of the CD pack

I liked the layout of the Maverick Sabre poster as it was informing the audience of the songs

This Kelly Clarkson poster is one of my favourite due to the iconography

Second Photoshoot

This is the second photoshot for the ancillary task.

Below are all the images of different shots we decided to employ accoprding to our research.
This photoshoot was mainly to focus and narrow down the style and type of shpt we wopuld use in our final photoshoot.
We did this because we wanted to ensure that it linked directly with our research and that the persona we were creating was fully displayed minimising trial and error.

Above are all the images taken and we used Zainab a member of the group to help illustrate how we would like our actress to act out her emotions.

How we experimented with lighting:

We decided to SWAP the lighting in order to create the shadow we felt would be most effective in the picture

Improved Storyline

There were certain aspects of our previous storyline that did not correlate with the making of the video, therefore we had to tweak certain areas in order to maintain interest from the audience and most importantly make sense as a whole.

Face shot down to necklace, necklace falls to ground, time rewinds with clock, rewind all scenes.
Music starts Wakes up on street in Dartford with cardboard box and bin bags
Walking into park touches the trees wanders round the park looking lost Walking shot of feet, walking to town(station) to beg for money
Sees money on the floor and picks it up
Meets guy in alleyway exchanges money for drugs
Gets paper out of pocket to call someone from payphone .. calls guy

Walking again but in the evening to house

Specific Detail; Research

After deciding to do our ancilliary task together, my group decided to put our most favoured ancillary ideas toghether and attempt to achieve one of them. Above are our ideas combined.

Explanation Of Equipment Used

The pictures above shows some of the equipment that was used in the making of the film.
We used the tripod for stability as previous filming showed that our filming was rather shaky.
This affected our work as it removed the focus from what we were filming and emphasized the fact that film was shaky. The height can be altered, meaning we could easily film at a range of angles.

Costume

The images above show more reasearch into specific costumes related to my music video.

The main ideas for my music video cam from the celebrity Kesha as her style is quite casual but still presents a particular image.

Below is researched gathered from other forms of media such as Pretty Woman which is a film, Lilly Allen the artist ect, as all these women present make up how we would like ours to be presented.

Copyright Letter

Below is a print screen of the email and message I sent to EMI for permission to use the Ed Sheeran A Team video.

I am a year 13 student at Wilmington Grammar School for Girls (WGSG) in England. I am writing to request your permission to use your track by Ed Sheeran called ‘A team’. With your permission, with three other members of my group, we would like to use this track as part of our A2 product, which is part of our coursework and involves producing a music video. We specifically chose this track as it is not only familiar, but may also apply to a lot of young people in our generation.
We will also be producing a digi-pack and a poster advertisement which may also include the name of the track and artist. If we receive your permission the track will be used only for educational purposes and will only be posted on YouTube so that out teachers, media class and the OCR examining board have access to our product. It will also be placed on YouTube so that the public can comment on our product and give us their opinion. However, it will be removed from YouTube once the exam board have viewed it.
The artist and the company will be fully acknowledged throughout the pre-production and the music video- this will be posted on our blogs, which involve the process of our production and product itself.
We appreciate your time; and look forward to hearing from you soon,
