How The DigiPacks And Adverts Link


I carried out research intomagazine adverts as I will be making one of my own depending on the front cover I use.
I have specifically looked at women as my front cover will have a woman on it also
and I am also looking at the layout and format of these adverts
to see how they are portrayed and challenge or conform to it,
depending on the specific image it conveys.

 
The Beyonce 'B DAY' Album has the same photo as the advert and the same font on the title. However the featured parts are in black, white and red and are highlighted specifically to attract the audiences attention.
The font and writing is plain and simple possibly to target all age groups and the font shows synergy and shows the audience what they will be getting.
The JLO 'DANCE AGAIN' world tour album is quite bright and sophisticated. The digital image in the poster is also the same as the album cover.
However there is a contrast in the main colours on the front cover of the poster as the blue on the poster could possibly be a mechanism to target male consumers as the purple colour is still rather feminine.
 


 The Alicia Keys GIRL ON FIRE Album also shows the presence of a strong woman. However the colours on the album are darker and less sublte. As my cover is black and white, I will not be using this scheme but the font will be bold and sharp. 
 The research above presents how the synergy in the advert and the front cover allow easy recognition and allow the audience to get a snippet of what will be involved in the main album.
