Further Digi Pack Research

I have designed and begun the construction of my digi pack.

Below is some research to guide me on how I should layout my digi pack also.

I will not be incorporating the poses specifically however the format and the way the font is displayed will be similar to how I will be formatting my digi pack.

I have labelled the digi pack to show the different parts of the case.

However this is a Platinum Edition which is designed for two CD's therefore it does have extra space.

The fonts in red are the parts I will be making excluding disk 2 the interior back and the back cover.

This CD shows what my CD will look like however my actress will not be glamorous, but will in fact look rather dirty and unkempt. 

This Rihanna CD is how I would like my actual CD cover to be like but perhaps saying the title of the music video "A Team".

Front Cover of Ancillary

I took these pictures whilst I was filming the bedroom scene to practise how I would like the front cover of my ancillary task to be.  

Initially I struggled to position my model in an upright pose that was similar with my research as the bed was not a stable enough surface to effectively produce this.

This test shoot helped me establish specifically how I would like my final shoot to be.

Ancillary Pictures

As I have started researching into my ancillary task, I decided to test shot some of the shots and ways I would like my actress to look on the front cover and the back cover of my CD pack.

These pictures are test shots of how I would like the inside of my CD Pack to look. these two pictures tell a story of a depressed young girl who is crying. After I started taking these pictures I was tempted to use this type of picture for my front cover. However I do not feel that I will be challenging myself enough from AS if I use this picture alone.

 

Incorporating both pictures together with my front cover will be a new challenge that I am willing to take.

 

Below are other pictures we decided to take to practise for our ancillary which will be taking within the next 2 days.

Digipak Cover

Here are some digipak front covers that are individually different but range from close to mid shots of the artist. Furthermore the artists display various emotions but none of them show the artist looking happy with their situation

This is what I would like to present aswell and despite there being an element of glamour to these pictures, the artists expressions decrease the glamour and encourage the audience to focus on the message being presented. This is what I plan on doing with my actress.

Front Cover Research

This is how I would like the back cover of my music magazine to look like.

HOWEVER

we decided as a group to link our ancillary task so this is just some initial individual thoughts into it all.

These photos are from the Rihanna video 'You Da One'. The video does not specifically relate to my music video, however I wold like to incorporate these shots on the front cover of my music magazine. 

This shot is specifically how I would like my front cover to be as the effect of two pictures in one is how I would like my front cover to be also. However I will probably have one picture reflected in both sides underneath the main picture and have the smoke intertwine.

Research Into Actors

Mila Kunis the actress presents how I would like my actress to look in the music video. Mila has brown hair like my actress Niamh Karia.
